Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Make sure, the manuscript has not been published previously, and it is not under consideration for publication in another journal (or as explained in Comments to the Editor).
  • Make sure, the manuscript files are in Microsoft Word document format. The manuscript is typed with 1.5 spaced text, use Times New Roman font size 12, use the downloadable article template according to the desired language version, follow the author's guidelines, and a maximum similarity test of 15%.
  • For references, use the Mendeley reference management application, each manuscript uses a minimum of 20 reference items and the majority of which are references to published research results (scientific journals and proceedings), and the reference URLs written are only DOI and digital sources.

Author Guidelines

Carefully read the submission guidelines as follows:

A. General Requirements

The minimum standard requirements of Jurnal Maksipreneur (JMP) must be:

  1. Written in Indonesia Language or English with Microsoft word document format.
  2. The length of the submitted paper is at least 12 pages and no more than 15 pages. The Editor will evaluate if the papers are needing more pages than 15 pages. The paper use Times New Roman 12 pt and single space.
  3. Use Mendeley for reference management and formatting, and choose APA 7th edition style.
  4. Make sure that your paper is prepared using the JMP article template in the Indonesian version or English version before it is submitted.

B. Structure of The Manuscript

The manuscript must be prepared and suggested present follow the structure:

  1. Title. The title of the paper consists of the manuscript title is max 4 lines without acronym or abbreviation, times new roman 14 pt, left side; the name of the author(s); authors' affiliation; and correspondence email address.
  2. Abstract and Keywords. The Abstract has a maximum of 200 words; No citation; State in the abstract a primary objective, research design, sample and sampling (if there are), methods, and the main conclusions. The abstract and keywords are written in two languages, i.e. English and Indonesian. The keywords consist of 3-5 words/phrases, alphabetically.
  3. Section structure. Authors are suggested to present their articles in the section structure: Background - Theoretical/Literature Review - Research Methods - Results and Discussions – Conclusions and Recommendations.
  4. References. Expect a minimum of 20 references for the last 5 years, primarily with a minimum of 75% to research papers, use Mendeley, and choose APA 7th edition style for reference management and formatting.

Authors retain copyright and grant the Jurnal Maksipreneur right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License that allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) the work for any purpose, even commercially with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in Jurnal Maksipreneur.

Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in Jurnal Maksipreneur. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
