Abstract


Student association members must be able to commit to the task given by the organization. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-leadership and organizational commitment among members of student associations at University X. The hypothesis of this study is there is a positive relationship between self-leadership and organizational commitmenti. The sample in this study were student associations members, which totaled 98 members. Data collection used two scales, those were self-leadership scale and the organizational commitment scale. Analysis was performed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results of this study shows r = 0,475 (p<0,01), so that it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant between self-leadership with organizational commitment in student association members.
