PENUMBUHAN KREATIVITAS PADA ANAK-ANAK TK MELALUI KEGIATAN MENGGAMBAR DI DAERAH HILIR PENGHASIL ENERGI
Abstract
Objective of this research was to investigate some inhibited and cultivated factors on children’s creativity. The creative activity was observed through drawing lesson in a preschool. Subject of this research was a girl aged 6 years old who was able to draw attractively more than other children. Her drawing was rich in colors and designs. This preliminary research was conducted in Rewulu Yogyakarta, a village near a downstream area of energy. This area was chosen since people in mining areas were more likely aggressive than people in agriculture areas. Parent in mining areas were likely ignorance in creativity cultivating on their children. Therefore the existence of creative child in that area was interesting. Through intensive interview with subject’s mother, it was found that her mother had motivated the child in drawing activity. She also gave frequent appraisals and provided drawing materials completely. Unfortunately, she had not yet consulted to a teacher or any drawing expert. She also had not published her child’s drawing to her community. She might be ashamed or ignorant to this good creative potentiality. Two research shortcomings were discussed.
