Abstract
In the digital era, higher education institutions face significant challenges in managing efficient and effective IT services. This study aims to explore the integration of the APQC Education Process Classification Framework with ITIL 4 to enhance IT service management in higher education institutions. Through a literature review, this research identifies the synergies between these two frameworks and evaluates their impact on service quality, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction.
The findings indicate that integrating APQC and ITIL 4 can provide a better structure for IT service management, improving service quality and operational efficiency. APQC offers a comprehensive process framework for education, while ITIL 4 provides best practices in IT service management. Case studies and literature analysis support these findings, demonstrating that the implementation of these frameworks can help higher education institutions manage their IT services more effectively and responsively to user needs.
This study concludes that the integration of the APQC Education Process Classification Framework and ITIL 4 can offer significant benefits to higher education institutions, including improved service quality, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction. These findings provide guidance for higher education institutions in adopting a holistic approach to their IT service management.
