Abstract


This study discusses the government's role in empowering the Corporate Social Responsbility, namely in cooperation with Bank Indonesia as the central bank encourages banks below in this case the executing bank through an MOU to implement the KUR program, with the issuance of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 1999 concerning Bank Indonesia as amended by the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 3 of 2004 concerning Amendment to Law Number 23 Year 1999 concerning Bank Indonesia, so that policies to help the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) experiencing a paradigm shift that is pretty basic As for Financing and guarantees to Micro and Small Enterprises conducted by the government as follows:

  1. The Government, Local Government and the business community to provide financing for Micro and Small Enterprises.
  2. Government and local governments can provide incentives in the form of ease of licensing requirements, tariff relief facilities and infrastructure, and other forms of incentives in accordance with the provisions of the legislation to businesses that provide financing for Micro and Small Enterprises.
